A genus of clump forming perennials from alpine meadows and woods from Europe to Wesern Asia. Familiar to most gardeners as Granny's pincushion, these are herbaceous plants that love a moisture retentive spot in full sun where they produce a tidy mound of soft foliage in the summer and flowers in the early summer and often again in the early autumn. We will supply freshly divided clumps from our field grown stocks.
