Ipheion Alberto Castillo
Ipheion “Alberto Castille” is a large white form, found by its name sake in Buenos Aires. The star-shaped flowers on strong stems are violet scented, amidst grey green leaves. Early hard frosts can temporarily damage the leaves, resulting in a garlic-like scent, but they usually recover completely, and are full of flower in April.
