This richly coloured, scented iris has gentian-blue petals with a small yellow and white crest on the falls and flowers in February and March. The narrow, grey-green, squared leaves, elongate after flowering. It is very hardy but should be fed annually to ensure continued flowering. Flowering in February/ March to 6".
Planting instructions
Plant the bulbs 4” (10cm) apart and 5” (12.5cm) deep in well-drained, moderately fertile soil in sun or partial shade. Top-dress the soil with grit so the flowers are not splashed with soil in rain.
