Iris J.S.Dijt
A lovely dwarf iris which has rich reddish-plum petals with a bold yellow stripe. In warm sunlight it has a strong fragrance. Iris reticulata is a native of mountains in Turkey, Iraq and Iran and is very suitable for a rock garden, or other sunny, well drained position. Flowering in February / March to 6".
Planting instructions
Plant the bulbs 2-4” (5-10cm) apart at twice their own depth in well-drained, rich peaty soil in sun or partial shade. Top-dress the soil with grit so the flowers are not splashed with soil in rain.
