Velvety dark purple flowers with bright white highlights on the falls
Order Code: 101-13
Iris Pauline
The name reticulata refers to the netted tunic around the bulb. They are derived from plants native to the Mediterranean and the Caucasus mountains, and do best in well drained conditions with a warm dry summer rest. Deep velvety purple flowers with bright white highlights on the falls produced in February / March at 6" tall.
Planting instructions
Plant them deeply (5”, 12cm) to encourage repeat flowering. If you have a raised bed in which to plant them you’ll find it easier to admire the scented ones. 15 bulbs will nicely fill a 9” planter or pot for a spring treat.
