Lynn Keddie Photography Course

Following the success of last year's course we will be hold the event again on the 10^th September 2008 (a Wednesday). The number of participants is limited to 12 to allow Lynn Keddie to deal with individual questions and spend time with everyone. It is open to both SLR and non SLR users and concentrates on the taking of pictures rather than the manipulation of images thereafter.

The format of the day is not set in stone, but will start at 10.00 am and end at 1.00 pm, with a break at some stage for a drink and cake or biscuits. The cost of the course is £28 per person, payable to Avon Bulbs Ltd.  If you would like to stay on for a light lunch you would be very welcome to do so for an additional £5.00 per head, alternatively we can suggest other hostelries nearby. Please indicate when booking if you require lunch. You are more than welcome to stay after lunch and take more pictures on the nursery if you wish.

Lynn’s suggestions for what to bring would include the following:

 v      Your camera ! But also try and look out the instruction manual and bring  it, who knows how much of it you’ve ever read?

 v      If using an SLR any spare lenses (within reason!) But she will also talk about compacts if that is what people have with them.

 v      Fully charged camera batteries and a spare in case.

 v      A clean memory card and again a spare if you have one with as many Gbs as possible, or plenty of film, certainly more than one reel.

 v      A tripod if you have one, and a remote cable, but neither of these are necessary if you do not have them.

 v      Stout shoes, warm clothes and a waterproof, but if it is very wet we will shelter in glasshouses or poly tunnels

 v      And lots of enthusiasm!
