Tulipa White Triumphator is an an iconic and popular tulip, but not so typically lily flowered in its shape, all white with long clean green stems. They seem always more dramatic when provided with a stronger background against which to view them. Tulip White Triumphator is especially useful to separate difficult colours, or planted in combination with dark flowered tulips for added dramatic effect.
Tulipa White Triumphator has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit because it has proved to be reliable in appropriate conditions and a good performing plant. These bulbs are losing their skins now, that will not however affect their growth or flowering.
Tulipa White Triumphator bulbs should be planted 5" (12cm) deep and 5" (12cm) apart in a sunny free draining site , Don't be in a rush to get the tulips in the ground as they will benefit from planting in late October or early November, by which time the first frosts will have reduced the level of disease in the soil.
