Anemone

Anemones are perennials with rhizomes or tubers for roots and  lobed leaves. Anemone Wild Swan (and its derivatives)  is a hybrid which probably has an early-flowering mountain species A. rupicola, and the familiar autumn-flowering Japanese A. hupehensis, as its antecedants, giving it a long, flowering season.but is far more controllable than the Japanese parent.
