A double flower, that start off as a really dark pink, and over time fade to light pink, and finally white. This creates a very unusual display, with fresh dark pink blooms being held against the older creamy white flowers. Supplied in a 1.5ltr pot
These perform best in patio pots but can be planted en masse in garden borders. Dig a hole approximately twice the size of the rootball. Knock the plant out of the pot, and place into the centre of the hole, and backfill, ensuring the returned soil is lightly pressed into place. Also ensure the crown of the plant is above the soil surface.
Fully grown this Dianthus will be 20cm tall and 30cm wide, so please bear this in mind when finalising the position of this plant in your garden
Dianthus are best suited to full sun, but will tolerate partial shade. They prefer water retentive but free draining soils. Ensure these are kept watered through the summer months especially in their establishment year. Deadhead throughout the season to encourage further flushes of flower
Flowering June - September
Height 8” (20cm)
