Native to the mediterranean regions, lavender’s offer the quintessential aroma of the British summertime, with a scent that is fragrantly admired by gardeners and pollinators alike. They are also extremely versatile, at home in the borders or in patio pots. They can be used to make a low informal hedgerow, the flowers can be cut, and oils have been extracted from lavender flowers for many years as a herbal remedy. There are many different varieties of lavenders on the market, which can be divided into two sorts – the angustifolia (English) types, and stoechas (French) types. We are offering 3 colours of English lavenders from a new and increasingly popular range called ‘Bee Zee’. Bred in the UK, these are extremely hardy, very floriferous, and offer strong colours, and I cannot recommend them highly enough.
