Planting Instructions

Poppy’s are best planted in the border. Dig a hole approximately twice the size of the rootball. Knock the plant out of the pot, and place into the centre of the hole, and backfill, ensuring the returned soil is lightly pressed into place. Also ensure the crown of the plant is above the soil surface.

Fully grown this Poppy will be 90cm tall and 60cm wide, so please bear this in mind when finalising the position of this plant in your garden

This Poppy will tolerate both full sun and partial shade. They will thrive in pretty much any soil type, as long as they are not waterlogged for any length of time. . Keep well watered during the establishment year. Dead head throughout the flowering season to promote fresh buds
