A new breeding of Salvia! Very vigorous and bushy, yet compact habit, making it ideal for front of border displays and patio pots. This is one of the most floriferous nemorosa types available, with violet blue flower spikes held on strong flower spikes, that re-bloom consistently throughout the summer months, and of course, they are loved by our pollinator friends. Supplied in a 2ltr pot in early May
Salvia can be planted in either the border or patio pots – these Marvel series are specifically bred to thrive in patio pots. Dig a hole approximately twice the size of the rootball. Knock the plant out of the pot, and place into the centre of the hole, and backfill, ensuring the returned soil is lightly pressed into place. Also ensure the crown of the plant is above the soil surface.
Fully grown this Salvia will be 30cm tall and 30cm wide, so please bear this in mind when finalising the position of this plant in your garden
Salvia prefers the full sun, but it will tolerate a partial shade apect. They prefer a water retentive, but free draining and fertile soil. Keep well watered during the establishment year. Dead head throughout the flowering season to promote fresh buds
Flowering June - September
Height 12” (30cm)
