Hyacinthus Carnegie produces dense spikes of glossy white flowers. These are suitable for the house, where if potted will flower in February or March. Alternatively if planted in a sunny situation in well drained soil outside in the garden they will flower in April.
Hyacinthus Carnegie bulbs can either be planted in a pot or outside at 3-4" (8-10cm) deep and 4" (10cm) apart (or closer in pots), in the sun. It will grow outside in any well drained moderately fertile soil. In pots, grow in cool conditions and in good light.
