Muscari aucheri White Magic has attractive pale green flower buds opening white, initially quite pointed but rounded when in full flower. The ''Grape Hyacinths'' as the name implies are heavily scented. All do well in the drier, sunny conditions provided under deciduous shrubs in spring, with summer shade, but also make delightful subjects for mixed spring containers. The aucheri forms are less vigorous, (and by implication not invasive) so suited to smaller gardens.
Muscari aucheri White Magic should be planted 4" (10cm) deep and 2" (5cm) apart or 30-50 per sq. ft. in a sunny well-drained position.
