Planting Instructions

Warm rose orange when in bud and when the flower opens, paling to a lighter shade with some yellow at the petal edges. The flowers are broad and bowl shaped with a lovely perfume. Bulbs should be planted 5" (12cm) deep and 5" (12cm) apart, or allow 7-9 per square foot in a spot with sunny conditions at flowering time. Don't be in a rush to get the tulips in the ground as they will benefit from planting in late October or early November, by which time the first frosts will have reduced the level of disease in the soil.
