Narcissus papyraceus Double Roman (4)

Bulbs dug from our unheated greenhouse where these grow vigorously. They flower remarkably early and need lots of light if they are not to topple over as they flower. Hugely spicily scented - a very unusual daffodil. Not reliably hardy outdoors.

Planting Instructions

Pot these narcissus bulbs into good compost 3-4" (8-10cm) deep and grow in good light in cool conditions, with a warm dry summer rest such as in a bed in an unheated greenhouse though pots in similar conditions would work just as well. Do not allow to get frosted.
