A new offering to Avon Bulbs this year, achillea are from the aster (Asteraceae) family of plants, growing to around 3ft (1m) in height. The common name for Achillea is yarrow and this hardy perennial needs little attention to perform well in nearly all soil types. They will flower from mid April all the way through until the end of September, with large clusters of dome like flowers becoming a pollinator magnet throughout the season, held above aromatic, feathery and fern like foliage
