More upright than H. coccinea Major with flowers that do not seem to open so widely, but pretty in pink with deeper freckling. (Formally called Schizostylus)
These are easy plants for a sunny position which isn't waterlogged in the winter although a damper summer suits them better than a dry one, Benefits from lots of humus worked into the soil. Grassy leaved and appreciative of being split up every 3 or 4 years. Plant 2"(6cm) apart.
