This plant/cultivar has been awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit because it has proved to be reliable in appropriate conditions and a good performing plant.
Plant into drained but fertile soil and water in. Best in fairly full sun and in warmer soils, watering them in the late spring and early summer as they establish and remember some slug deterrents, such as sheep's wool around the areaand wait for the summer flourish. If you are planting more than one, plant them about 14" (34cm) apart, and if different varieties a little further away from one another.
