A slightly finer leaved variety than the ones above which mostly have quite wide leaves and a more clump forming habit. Smaller headed and later flowering in pretty shades of apricot. From divisions.
Good drainage needed, they dislike waterlogging. Best in fairly full sun and in warmer soils. Plant them in good conditions, water as necessary to establish them in the late spring and early summer, remember some slug deterrents, such as sheep's wool around the area and wait for the summer flourish. If you are planting more than one plant them about 10" (24cm) apart, and if different varieties a little further away from one another.
Flowers Mid- Late Summer
