A remarkable colour when you consider that almost all the other Roscoea in cultivation are either yellow or in shades of purple. Evidently a find attributed to Bill Baker on a plant collection trip to Nepal in 1992. Often very late to emerge through the ground in the spring.
Plant in part shade or sun, 4" (10cm) deep and 6" (15cm) apart in good, moisture retentive soil.
Flowers Late Summer
Height 24" (60cm)
