Much paler and softer looking than T.formosana, with the background white more dominant, the leaves are also broader, softer and hairier, and in some shade they can grow pretty tall.

From divisions. Plant crowns (point up) in sun or part shade in moisture retentive soils, 4" (10cm) deep and 3" (8cm) apart.
