Tough and hardy shade loving woodland plants from the north east of the USA. The heavy twisting daffodil-yellow flowers arch the stems over. Lovely soft plants that associate brilliantly with those other lovely American woodlanders – Erythroniums, Trilliums and Sanguinaria. Plants from division.
These are woodland plants and so Uvularia grandiflora requires a cool moist spring and a drier summer in the shade. Plant 3" (8cm) deep and about 12" (30cm) apart.
