Planting Instructions

These can be planted in either patio pots or garden borders. Dig a hole approximately twice the size of the rootball. Knock the plant out of the pot, and place into the centre of the hole, and backfill, ensuring the returned soil is lightly pressed into place. Also ensure the crown of the plant is above the soil surface.

Fully grown this Aquilegia will be 40cm tall and 30cm wide, so please bear this in mind when finalising the position of this plant in your garden

Aquilegia thrive best in sunny conditions but will tolerate partial shade, with water retentive but well draining soils. Ensure these are kept watered through the summer months especially in their establishment year
